Tribune Chronicle – WARREN – Nearly 7,000 workers for the defunct Forum Health hospital system have joined thousands of area retirees and workers getting monthly pension checks from a federal insurance agency.

Retirees will continue to receive their monthly benefits without interruption, and other workers will receive their pensions when they are eligible to retire, the agency said Monday. It said notification letters will be sent to all Forum plan participants in the next several weeks.

Monday's announcement covers 6,903 retirees and workers, the agency said on its website.
