President Obama to visit, speak at Brent Spence Bridge

Cincinnati Enquirer – “There’s a bridge that needs repair between Ohio and Kentucky that’s on one of the busiest trucking routes in North America,” Obama said in his speech, before mentioning a public transportation project in Houston and schools across the country that also need repair.

“If there’s any location more symbolic of the need to create jobs by investing in infrastructure, it’s the Brent Spence Bridge,” said U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Lorain. “Next week, the President will travel to Cincinnati, where efforts to fix the Brent Spence bridge enjoy broad, bipartisan support.
