Sen. Sherrod Brown Makes Pitch for Ohio Museum to Get Shuttle
Plain Dealer – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown has written a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden to ask him to reconsider his decision to send the Enterprise space shuttle to New York City.
Brown sent his letter after a report in the New York Times last month indicating that New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum plans to build a new building to house the Enterprise, one of a handful of retired space shuttles being divvied up to museums across the country. The museum had previously indicated plans to house the shuttle on the museum site.
