Senator Working To Find New Business For Ontario GM Plant
WMFD – The search continues for a new business to occupy the former General Motors Plant in Ontario.
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio says the company that changed its mind was far from the last possibility for the 55-year-old site.
And, Brown says he’s working with everyone he can think of on the local, state, and national levels on reaching out to businesses and telling them what the plant and the workforce in this area have to offer.
Senator Brown says he has toured the G.M. plant several times, but not since the automaker left it.
