Three Cuyahoga County Police Departments to Receive $6.9 Million in Federal Money
Crain’s Cleveland Business – Three police departments in Cuyahoga County have received a total of nearly $6.9 million in federal money for hiring and retaining police officers.
According to the office of U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, the lion’s share of the money will go to the city of Cleveland. The city will be awarded almost $5.9 million, which should allow it to create or save 25 positions.
