Plain Dealer – Pete Elliott’s team nabbed its 25,000th fugitive this summer. Elliott, 49, U.S. marshal for Northern Ohio since 2003, has multiplied the previous arrest rate about 15-fold, partly by deputizing hundreds of area officers.

How come I keep wanting to spell it Marshall Elliott?
