West Salem bank OK’d for $2.3M from Lending Fund
Wooster Daily Record – With small businesses struggling to access the credit they need to grow, a local bank received $2.3 million through the Small Business Lending Fund.
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced in September that Community Independent Bancorp in West Salem will receive funding to increase its lending to small businesses.
“Small businesses are engines of job creation and will lead our state’s economic recovery,” Brown said. “This latest round of SBLF funding will help West Salem’s Community Independent Bancorp partner with our small businesses to unlock critical capital to create jobs and drive our economy forward.”
