  • Cleveland Plain Dealer:  Sen. Brown “Got It Right” On Environmental Regulations.  In a March 2011 editorial, The Cleveland Plain Dealer opined that Senator Brown “got it right in a recent letter urging President Barack Obama to slow the pace and narrow the scope of pending environmental regulations. If not changed, the overly rigid greenhouse gas emission rules could stifle Ohio’s manufacturing recovery.”  [Cleveland Plain Dealer, Editorial, 3/7/11]

“Josh Mandel’s decision to take shady campaign cash, ignore his job, hire unqualified staff on the taxpayer’s dime, and repeat one ridiculous lie after another has earned him a reputation for being a politician who can’t be trusted and the only reason he’s competitive in this race is that secretly funded special interest spending on his behalf has now passed $10 million thanks to Karl Rove’s latest false and misleading attack ad,” said Sadie Weiner, Friends of Sherrod Brown spokesperson. “Unfortunately for Josh Mandel, no amount of secret corporate money can hide his cronyism, absenteeism, and anti middle class agenda.”
