Bullying seminar planned in Mentor
The News Herald – Representatives from several state and national organizations will meet at Memorial Middle School in Mentor today for a seminar on bullying.
The U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Federal Trade Commission, Ohio Department of Education, Anti-Defamation League, Gay and Lesbian Education Network and Equality Ohio all will gather to address the problem of bullying both on and off campus.
The seminar is part of a series sponsored by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, that aims to help school staff, including educators, administrators and bus drivers address bullying and harassment.
