Akron Beacon Journal — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, introduced a bill this week that would provide grants to schools across the country to buy automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) and train staff to use them.

This is a companion to legislation introduced in the House by U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton, D-Copley Township.
