Loveland company unveils price, Cincinnati dealer for electrified Grand Cherokee
Fox 19 — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joined a southwest Ohio electric vehicle company to reveal a new electric jeep model at the North American International Auto Show today. Amp Electric Vehicles, based in Loveland, displayed a converted Jeep Grand Cherokee during the auto show in Detroit. The company also released final pricing while introducing its first dealer, Mercedes of Cincinnati in Kenwood.
“More and more Americans are demanding high-tech, energy-efficient vehicles, and Ohioans are developing and building them. AMP is all about Ohio talent breeding Ohio innovation,” Brown said. “Our state’s companies can compete with anyone in the world, but we need a national manufacturing strategy that prioritizes the type of high-tech, clean energy industries that create good-paying jobs and lead to long-term growth.”
