Stricter rules for motorcoaches in works
WDTN – A bill aimed at making charter busses safer clears its first hurdle in the U.S. Senate.
The legislation, co-sponsored by Ohio Democrat Sherrod Brown, will now be debated by the House.
If approved, motorcoach companies will have to provide better training for drivers and install seat belts, stronger seating and anti-ejection windows.
