Five of our favorite photos of the week
We’ve just passed the two months to Election Day mark, and the campaign is only ramping up.
It was another busy week for this team. We celebrated Labor Day at events in Lorain and Cleveland, focusing on the importance of the dignity of work. On top of that, students and elected officials gathered at the University of Cincinnati and Kent State University to highlight Sherrod’s record of fighting for students.
Here were some of our favorite moments this week. (Once you’ve taken a look, be sure to show your support as we get closer to Election Day.)
Lorain – Spending some time with candidate for Governor Rich Cordray and Ohio Attorney General candidate Steve Dettelbach.
Lorain – Donna, Shelly, and Sandy, strong Sherrod supporters because of his longtime record of standing with the labor movement.
Cleveland – Talking with Steve, a supporter who’s proud to stand with Sherrod because of his consistent work to make healthcare more affordable.
Cleveland – Meeting Maria. Alongside a group of 50, Maria once visited Sherrod’s office to make her voice heard on the issues that matter to her, and, as she says, “he listened to all of us.”
Kent – Maddie, Kent State College Democrats President, shares her story at a Students for Sherrod event focused on Sherrod’s record of fighting for Ohio’s students.
