Join Sherrod at the Indians’ First Home Game

We’re getting close to the Cleveland Indians’ first home game—April 6th at Progressive Field. To celebrate, we’ve put together a contest where one lucky winner (and a guest!) will get to attend the game with Sherrod.

Read Sherrod’s message to his supporters about the contest, and then enter by chipping in a few bucks before our upcoming FEC deadline:

Team —

There are few things more memorable than walking into a baseball field on the first day of the season. It’s a singular experience.

I can already picture the brilliant green outfield, fresh dirt on the pitcher’s mound, and the crack of a bat connecting with a fastball. Rooting for the Cleveland Indians is one of my favorite pastimes. If you’re a big fan too, I have a contest you should definitely enter.

You and a guest can join me at the Cleveland Indians’ first home game of the baseball season at Progressive Field on April 6th! All you have to do is give a few bucks toward our FEC goal and you will be automatically entered for a chance to join me for the game.

Of course, there’s another reason you should contribute to our FEC goal. And it’s that we can’t afford to miss our mark.

Representing Ohio in the Senate is one of the most important things I’ll ever do. I don’t take it lightly. Every day I go into work with the same goal: to fight for working families. Often times that means standing up to lobbyists, big banks, insurance companies — and the lawmakers they support.

But I’ll never stop fighting this fight. My work is not over until we’ve fixed our system so people working 40 hours a week can afford health coverage, put food on the table for their families, save for retirement, and be able to enjoy their lives — maybe even go to the ballpark now and then.

This is exactly why special interest groups are against me. They would much rather elect a senator who will be a shill for corporate interests than a champion for Ohio families.

We can strike out special interest groups. We overcame their spending in 2012 — and we will again as long as our grassroots team shows up to play from now until November. Help us get on track to reach our FEC goal.

Chip in $5 and be automatically entered for a chance to have you and a friend join me on April 6th.

With gratitude,

Sherrod
