“Sherrod Brown stands with us.”
This week, we’re excited to launch African Americans for Sherrod, a constituent group highlighting Sherrod’s longtime fight for equity, justice, civil rights, and representation.
At Monday’s packed launch event, supporters, community leaders, and elected officials from all over Ohio gathered in Cleveland, speaking out about some of the critical issues they’re facing, and showing their support for Sherrod.
Sherrod’s work on issues ranging from healthcare to education is what drives people like Congresswoman Marcia Fudge—who spoke at the event alongside Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Representative Stephanie Howse—to show their support.
Or, as Al, a local business owner and strong supporter in Columbus, puts it: “I get up every day wanting to make my community better. I think Sherrod wakes up every day just like I do, wanting to make our country better.”
Learn a little more about Al:
