Mandel Bizarrely Told Politico That Question About When He Learned Of FBI Investigation Was “Fair” But Wouldn’t Offer Response
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Just two weeks after his last D.C. trip, absentee Treasurer Josh Mandel is back in the Beltway today to raise cash and rub elbows with lobbyists and Republican Party bosses. Mandel will be busy with five back-to-back events in D.C. today, but maybe he will have time to answer some simple questions, including one about the FBI investigation of his donors that Mandel himself called “a fair question.”
Here are the questions Mandel refuses to answer about the FBI investigation of his donors:
1. When did Josh Mandel first learn about the FBI investigation of his tainted campaign cash? (It’s worth reminding Josh that he called this a “fair question” in a Politico interview.)
2. Why didn’t Josh Mandel return the money as soon as he was contacted by the FBI?
3. Did Josh Mandel solicit the donations at the center of the FBI probe, as Suarez Corp. Pres. Ben Suarez has stated?
