COLUMBUS, OH – Friends of Sherrod Brown reported raising more than three times what Sherrod’s opponent raised in the first quarter of 2024. While Sherrod’s opponent has “heavily” self-funded his own campaign to buy Ohio’s Senate seat – totaling $4.5 million this cycle – Sherrod is building an unprecedented grassroots operation and raised a “monster haul” of over $12 million last quarter.
Last quarter, 89 percent of individual contributions were $100 or less and the average digital donation was less than $30 – demonstrating significant grassroots support for Sherrod and his fight for the Dignity of Work.
