COLUMBUS, OH – Today, the Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign announced two additional communications hires including Matt Keyes as Deputy Communications Director and Eliza Green as Press Secretary. Green will serve as the primary press contact for the Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign.
“We are thrilled to have Matt and Eliza joining our team to make sure Ohioans in every corner of the state know Sherrod’s record delivering for Ohio and fighting for the Dignity of Work,” said Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign manager Rachel Petri. “Matt and Eliza both bring critical experience and a commitment to fighting for working families to our team that will be key to reelecting Sherrod this November.”
Green comes to the campaign after working for the public affairs department at Forbes Tate Partners (FTP). At FTP, she worked as a communications specialist for The One Country Project, an organization that focuses on policy priorities important to rural Americans. In her free time, she also helped lead communications for the Asian American Action Fund. Green is a native of Hudson, Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University.
Former Ohio Democratic Party spokesperson Matt Keyes is transitioning to the Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign as Deputy Communications Director.
