COLUMBUS, OH – This week, Sherrod Brown received the endorsement of the Alliance for Retired Americans.

Whether it is fighting to secure pensions, safeguard retirement savings, or protecting Social Security benefits, Sherrod has stood by our side and been a voice for retired Americans,” said Norm Wernet, President of the Ohio Alliance for Retired Americans Educational Fund, a grassroots advocacy organization with more than 300,859 members in the state. “By pushing legislation that would lead to massive cuts to Social Security and Medicare and voting nine times to increase the cost of health care, Jon Husted has proven he will put billionaires and corporations before retired Ohioans. Ohio seniors know they can count on Sherrod Brown to fight for them, and we’re thrilled to endorse his campaign.”
