COLUMBUS, OH – In a new ad, an Ohio farmer called out Jon Husted for voting to continue the reckless war in Iran 13 times, causing his diesel prices to double and his fertilizer prices to triple. Husted has voted 13 times to raise Ohio farmers’ costs while also supporting tariffs that have decimated their markets.
“When farmers succeed, communities across our state succeed — but because of Jon Husted, rural Ohio is struggling,” said Sherrod Brown. “Jon Husted has voted 13 times to continue the reckless war in Iran that raised the price of fertilizer and diesel, and he continues to support the tariffs that are hurting farmers. This November, we’ll hold Jon Husted accountable for putting billionaires and corporations before Ohio’s farmers.”
