With 7 days until Election Day, Ohioans in Dayton are ready to elect a Senator who will stand up for hardworking Ohioans, fight billionaires and corporations, and work to lower costs.
“I want to thank John Legend for coming to Ohio. He knows what I know: that Ohioans don’t have a voice in the U.S. Senate and that we deserve better than Jon Husted,” said Sherrod Brown. “Jon Husted cast the deciding vote to take health care away from 490,000 Ohioans all to pay for a tax cut for his billionaire buddies and corporate cronies. Ohio is fighting back and demanding a government that works for Ohioans.”

As Husted actively makes life harder for Ohio families, he says that struggling Ohioans aren’t “experienced at navigating the real world,” that they should “earn more” money, and calls their work ethic “broken.”
Because of Husted’s efforts to cut deals to bring data centers to the state, Ohioans have seen their utility bills skyrocket.
Ohio saw the second largest utility rate increase in the country.
As families struggle with soaring bills, Husted blamed Ohioans for bringing data centers to Ohio.
Jon Husted has voted time and time again to raise gas and grocery prices, leaving hardworking families to foot the bill.
In the Senate, Husted has voted nine times to increase health care premiums on Ohio families — all to help pay for the largest tax cut for billionaires in history.
As Ohio small businesses face skyrocketing costs, Jon Husted voted five times against reining in reckless tariffs saying “you don’t hear from the ones that love it.”
After the Supreme Court ruled some tariffs unconstitutional, Husted said tariff refunds should not go back to Ohioans who paid it.
