COLUMBUS, OH – With election day one week away, Ohio voters have a clear choice between Sherrod Brown, a fighter for working Ohioans, and Jon Husted, the “waterboy” for special interests who has voted repeatedly to raise costs as families struggle.
Jon Husted is the “the face of data centers.” Husted gave billions in tax breaks to bring 226 data centers to the state, and now Ohioans have seen the second largest utility rate increase in the country. Husted played a central role in the largest bribery scandal in Ohio history that is costing Ohioans $663 more a year on their utility bills. Husted voted 14 times in support of an endless war with Iran that has raised the cost of gas, diesel, and groceries, and he voted nine times against lowering health care costs for Ohio families.
