COLUMBUS, OH – Yesterday, Sherrod, along with Montana Senator Jon Tester, joined The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss his work fighting for Ohioans, expanding benefits for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits during their service through the PACT Act, and protecting reproductive rights.
Watch Sherrod on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell here:
Sherrod Brown: “I stand up to Wall Street and stand up to drug companies. And voters don’t care [about] your party if you’re standing up to an interest group that’s screwing over people.”
Sherrod Brown: “One of the things I’m proudest of… is the PACT ACT, which takes care of veterans – what we didn’t do with Agent Orange a generation ago. If you’re exposed to these football field sized burn pits, you get care from the VA.”
Sherrod Brown: “You can bet next year the three Republicans who want my seat, that are going to be running in the primary, every one of them has called for a national abortion ban. So we will make that contrast clear… I want women and their doctors to make that choice, not a bunch of politicians in Columbus.”
