COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Friends of Sherrod Brown announced it will report raising nearly $5.7 million in the first two months of 2024.
“The gaggle of out-of-touch rich guys vying to take on Sherrod is no match for the thousands of supporters behind his re-election,” said Rachel Petri, Friends of Sherrod Brown Campaign Manager. “Sherrod, Connie, and the entire campaign team are grateful for every member of the grassroots team that will send Sherrod back to the Senate where he will continue fighting for Ohioans and the Dignity of Work.”
Headed into the general election, the campaign will report that it has $13.5 million on hand. The Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign has broken fundraising records quarter after quarter. Last quarter, the Friends of Sherrod Brown campaign raised $6.6 million with nearly 96 percent of individual contributions being $100 or less.
